Ripple Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

1. Who we are

Ripple is a game in the SHAPES series, published by Wisepear – Laboratório Tecnológico, Unipessoal, Lda (“Wisepear”, “we”), Rua Inácio Perestrelo, 32 2º, 4990-120 Ponte de Lima, Portugal. Wisepear is the data controller for the processing described in this policy, except where Google acts as an independent controller (see section 3).

2. Data stored on your device

Ripple saves the following on your device only, so you can pick up where you left off:

This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Ripple is free. Its only income comes from optional rewarded ads: a video plays only when you tap a button such as “Continue”, “One more try” or “Head start”, and you get the reward when it ends. No ad ever plays on its own.

The ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited in the EEA and Switzerland, Google LLC elsewhere). When the app starts and when it loads or shows an ad, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects:

DataExamples
Device identifiersAdvertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, only if you allow tracking; advertising ID on Android), app set ID, app-scoped identifiers
Approximate locationEstimated from your IP address
Ad and app interactionsAds you have seen, video views, taps, app launches
DiagnosticsCrash logs, app launch time, hang rate, energy usage

Google uses this data to show ads, to measure them, to prevent fraud and, if you agree, to personalize them. Google processes it under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy, and explains how it uses data from partner apps at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your choices

Refusing consent or tracking never changes the game, the rewards or the offers.

4. No other network use

Ripple’s fonts and sounds are built into the app. Apart from the ads described above, the game makes no network connection and works offline.

If you turn on a Daily Run reminder in Settings, it is scheduled by your phone itself as a local notification. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else, and you can turn it off at any time.

When you share your score or export your data (Settings › Export my data), the image or file goes through your phone’s share sheet to the app you choose. Nothing is sent to us.

5. Messages you send us

Settings › Report a problem prepares an email in your phone’s mail app. Nothing leaves your phone until you send it yourself. If you do, we receive your email address, your message, and the technical details shown before sending: app version, operating system and version, language, screen size, number of runs and Soul level.

We use them only to answer you and to fix the problem, because you asked us to (GDPR, Article 6(1)(b)). We keep them as long as needed to handle your request and its follow-up, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

6. Children

Ripple is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used Ripple and want the related advertising data handled, contact us and we will help you reach Google.

7. International transfers

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and also relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

8. Retention

Game data stays on your device until you delete the app. Messages you send us are kept as described in section 5. Google keeps advertising data for the periods set out in its privacy policy.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Because Ripple has no account and we do not receive your game data, most requests about advertising data are best handled through Google’s tools or by contacting Google. We will answer any request sent to us and help you with it.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt), or with the authority of the country where you live.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
